After two years of international activity of our Centre we have inferred that the issues of intercultural dialogue that is very important to the modern world are poorly elaborated in a practical framework in Belarus. Moreover in the Belarusian social and public discourse the notion of the intercultural dialogue is given an irrelevant meaning, even a distorted and odious. At the same time the intercultural dialogue is a factor very important to the modern Belarus so in the regional dimension as in the international.
Due to this fact a profound elaboration and treatment of the issues of the intercultural dialogue are needed. That requires such a form of activity that will permit to focus on interdisciplinary scientific and enlightening studies and practices in which high-leveled specialists will be engaged. For the purpose mentioned above we have created and registered the Institution “Intercultural Dialogue”, a nonprofit organization.
