At the invitation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania in Belarus Evaldas Ignatavichus the General Director “Intercultural Dialogue” Liubou Uladykouskaja participated in the opening of the traveling exhibition of united Lithuanian Artists Union “CENTURY PORTRAIT” dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Kristijonas Donelaitis.
Poet Kristijonas Donelaitis with the poem “The Seasons” written by him in the XVIII century about Lithuanian peasants and the Lithuanian nature is one of the cornerstones on which the Lithuanian national culture rests.
Artistic projects dedicated K. Donelaitis combine several aspects: visualization of Lithuanian identity, finding a global, universal ties that bind societies and cultural experiences.
