The project “Helping Immigrant Communities to Protect Children’s Rights” starts

Institution “Intercultural Dialogue” jointly with the non-governmental Institution “Center of Social Change” (Lithuania), as well as with the public association “Adults for Children ” (Norway) begins the international project “Helping immigrant communities to protect children’s rights”.

The project is aimed at solving the problems of child neglect in immigrant families. The project will work out and implement measures to assist these families in solving such problems in a foreign country in the initial stage. A large role is played here by the various aspects of intercultural dialogue, especially by those that create opportunities for personal development through enrichment with various socio-cultural experience.

The project covers Belarus, Norway, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia.

The experience developed within the project will be forwarded to the appropriate social welfare services for families and children, to civil society organizations, practitioners working with migrant families.
