On May 22 Dr. Liubou Uladykouskaja had a talk «The Belarusian Language: The Essentials” at the University of Washington via ZOOM.
She explained why the Belarusian language is the main factor for the survival of the Belarusian nation and also showed the essence of the language policy in Belarus using legislation and statistics.
In order to discuss the reasons of the current language and cultural situation in Belarus she invited to make a historical journey into the depths of the Belarusian culture and to the heights of the national consciousness.
Listeners heard about the main features of the Belarusian language and also discovered the classical literature of the Belarusians.
